Problem summary
The register allocator gets caught in a non-productive spill-rebuild graph cycle of the Briggs algorithm for condition registers because logical operations on condition registers did not use a new name for spilled register. This resulted in a broken live range but the pieces of the broken live range we still required the same register because the new live ranges used the same name.
Problem conclusion
Problem was fixed.
