LI77088: CDK ACTIVITY DOES NOT HAVE CORRECT 'MAP OUTPUTS - FROM ACTIVITY'SCHEMA

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If 'DescribeObjectResponse' variable does not have any fields in
  the 'DescribeObject' orchestration of CDK project, the schema of
  'Map Outputs - From activity' on the connector activity in the
  consumer project shows the schema of 'Map Input - To Activity'
  instead of the schema defined by the 'DescribeObjectResponse'
  variable.
  

Local fix

• Add a dummy field to the 'DescribeObjectResponse'.
  

Problem summary

• If 'DescribeObjectResponse' variable does not have any fields in
  the 'DescribeObject' orchestration of CDK project, the schema of
  'Map Outputs - From activity' on the connector activity in the
  consumer project shows the schema of 'Map Input - To Activity'
  instead of the schema defined by the 'DescribeObjectResponse'
  variable.
  
  We were actually expecting the Schema of "Response Object" to be
  substituted for Map Outputs.
  
  We also noticed that in WebSphere Cast Iron V6.3, after
  substitution of "Response Object" Schema to Mapoutputs,
  "_output" text was appended to top level element of "Response
  Object" Schema
  
  For example Top level element name is "Organization" was getting
  changed to "Organization_output".
  This will not be expected behaviour to enduser and has been
  corrected.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been addressed and is targeted for release in
  WebSphere Cast Iron fix packs V6.1.0.15 and V6.3.0.1
