Error description

  • The BG/Q compiler currently takes the PDF (Profile Directed
    Feedback) options (-qpdf1/-qpdf2/-qshowpdf) and passes them to
    the subsequent components. This is not part of the design.

Problem summary

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: No message is issued when -qpdf[12] is
    specified on command line.  PDF is not supported on the BG/Q
    platform.
    
    USERS AFFECTED: Only users of XL compilers for BG/Q are
    affected.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A warning message is issued and the option is ignored.
