Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • The register allocator gets caught in a non-productive
spill-rebuild graph cycle of the Briggs algorithm for condition
registers because logical operations on condition registers did
not use a new name for spilled register. This resulted in a
broken live range but the pieces of the broken live range we
still required the same register because the new live ranges
    used the same name.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem was fixed.
