Error description

  • When compiling a large test case with -qipa=level=1, the ipa64
    component of the compiler abends.

Local fix

  • As a temporary workaround, avoid using -g with -qipa=level=1
    

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
    User using IPA to compile large programs may be affected by
    this issue.
    
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The compiler produces an internal compiler error when encoding
    the block number for TEST instruction.
    The problems occurs when IPA tries to encode a big basic block
    number for TEST instruction.
