Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users configuring a large number of * * VCs for a port for LCGN mode. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CONNECTION LIST LCGN command causes * * CCLXOTD daemon to shut down. Message * * CCZT207E appeared in * * the process. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** After adding LUs to some physical lines, CCL and CCLXOTD are recycled to pick up the changes. When the command CONNECTION LIST LCGN was subsequently issued, CCLXOTD went down. When a large number of VCs is configured for a port for LCGN mode, the communication between cclxotd and cclxotm fails when processing the cclxotm command CONNECTION LIST LCGN. This is because size of a packet sent by the cclxotd process to cclxotm is too large for the receiver to handle.
Problem conclusion
The cclxotd module was modified to send multiple smaller monitoring data packets to the cclxotm module rather than one large packet.
