Error description

  • A large source file generates the warning message
when it's compiled with q64 on V9.

   80831  1500-042: (W) WARNING in
f_bhad110_r1_InsertApdtYM_01(BHAD110_INSRT_IN *, BHAD110_QU *):
Debug line numbers >65535 discarded.  Reduce file size and
recompile to allow full debugging.

Local fix

  • Reduce function size.

Problem summary

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Line numbers >64k not generated even in 64-bit mode

USERS AFFECTED:
Compiling large source files with single function >64k source
lines with -g -q64

Problem conclusion

  • Problem is fixed. Line numbers larger than 64K are being
emitted.
