For a specific test case, the compiler abends in xlfcode when compiling using the following commands: xlf90_r -qfree=f90 -qsuffix=f=f90 -c *.f90 The abend message that is seen is as follows: xlfcode: /build/tobey/r40/tobey.r40.lx-prod- opt/native/wcode/source/cw_breg.c:242: load_backchain: Assertion `scope_diff > 0' failed. /opt/ibmcmp/xlf/13.1/bin/.orig/xlf90_r: 1501-224 (S) fatal error in /opt/ibmcmp/xlf/13.1/exe/xlfcode: signal 6 received

Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: Users who has derived types that contains array component initialization in their modules may be affected by this issue. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The compiler produces an internal compiler error due to an initialization value being mis-placed in the wrong scope by the compiler.

The compiler has been fixed to handle the above scenario.
