APAR status

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
Users with very large programs which rely on the stack frame
    being a certain
size may be affected by this issue.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The compiler creates various internal temporaries that cause
    the internal stack
    frame to increase in size.

Problem conclusion

  • The compiler has been designed to run an extra optimization
    that goes and deletes
majority of the temporaries that it internally creates.
