Error description

  • Internal compiler error occurs in derived type with POINTER
    attribute with FLUSH directive.
    

Local fix

  • Specify the FLUSH list. For example, instead of:
    
    !$OMP FLUSH
    
    Use:
    
    !$OMP FLUSH(node)
    

Problem summary

  • USER AFFECTED:
    Users use OpenMP FLUSH directive without a list and
    the compilation unit contains derived types with
    POINTER attribute.
    
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Compiler issues internal compiler error when a
    derived type with POINTER attribute being included
    on the FLUSH directive without a list.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Provide appropriate checking for the variables that
    are included by the compiler in the FLUSH directive
    without a list.
