APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The problem may be exposed with XL Fortran compiler V12.1
  and triggered by using -qsmp option in combination with OMP
  directives used in the code.
  

Local fix

• Do not use -qsmp=omp:noopt
  

Problem summary

• Compilation abandons when a type bound procedure is called
  while there is an OpenMP directive, PARALLEL DO, appearing in
  lexical context before the type bound procedure call.
  

Problem conclusion

• When compilation exits from recognizing directive + do
  statement, we need to reset one of its global status,
  global_state.in_do_control.
