Error description
The problem may be exposed with XL Fortran compiler V12.1 and triggered by using -qsmp option in combination with OMP directives used in the code.
Local fix
Do not use -qsmp=omp:noopt
Problem summary
Compilation abandons when a type bound procedure is called while there is an OpenMP directive, PARALLEL DO, appearing in lexical context before the type bound procedure call.
Problem conclusion
When compilation exits from recognizing directive + do statement, we need to reset one of its global status, global_state.in_do_control.
Temporary fix
