Error description

  • When compiling with the option -qautodbl, a code generation
error is occurring, causing the compile to fail.

Local fix

  • Compile with -qstrict=reductionorder, or compile with -qnohot.

Problem summary

Users of XL Fortran with options -O3 and higher and options
-qsmp -qautodbl.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Compiler code generation error in the register allocator.

Problem conclusion

  • The code generation error was corrected.
