Error description

  • When creating a shared object containing a function call to
    Kernel_GetPersonality(), the compiler is generating an incorrect
    relocation type.  This can cause out of range errors to occur at
    runtime:
    
    foo.so: R_PPC_REL24 relocation at 0x864fe394 for symbol
    `Kernel_GetPersonality' out of range
