Error description
For certain complex compilation units the compiler component 'xlcentry' may fail at higher optimization levels (when -qhot is in effect).
Local fix
Disable optimization by appending -O0 to the end of the compile command for the compilation unit causing the failure.
Problem summary
USER AFFECTED: Users of variable length arrays. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Compiler may sometimes produce an internal compiler error when variable length arrays are used at high opt.
Problem conclusion
The issue was corrected.
