  • An implicit describe request may be done via the DB2 OLEDB
provider or the CLI driver to get some information about a curso
r.  This was happening even if the cursor gets closed at the ser
ver.
.
A describe request on a closed cursor is not allowed, and it may
 cause abends (for example if the server is z/DB2).
