  • IBM Process Center performance is affected when the Process
Center search function builds its index.

Problem summary


    

  • In IBM BPM V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2016.12, the search index was
improved by adding extra information for certain artifacts. The
improvement included generating a json model, which accesses the
 internal xml model of the artifact. This json generation is
expensinve and, therefore, might affect the index or general
Process Center performance.

Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix will be included in IBM BPM V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2017.06
that removes the code that generates the json model.
