Error description

• After interim fix JR52772 is applied, the stop service REST API
  throws an IllegalStateException when you try to stop the
  currently running service of a stand-alone task.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Interim fix JR52772 introduced authorization for multiple REST
  APIs. For the stop service REST API, in addition to the
  authorization, check the ability to stop stand-alone tasks was
  disabled.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.6 cumulative fix 2 that
  allows to stop the service of a currently running stand-alone
  task.

  installed, go to

  After IBM BPM V8.5.6 cumulative fix 2 is installed, search for
  JR56711 on Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral:
  
  1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
  
  2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR56711, and click Continue.
  
  When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
  the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
  additional installation instructions and information about the
  fix.
