  • When you migrate to IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) V8.5.6,
    you see an error like the following error:

Local fix

Problem summary

  • This issue occurs when the LSW_BPD_INSTANCE database table
    contains a huge number of records.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.6.2 that introduces partial
    commits to the database upgrade step and, therefore, reduces the
    transaction log output.
    
    A fix will be included in IBM BPM V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2016.09
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR56464:
    
     1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
     2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR56464, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
