Error description

  • In IBM Process Portal, after you upgrade to IBM Business Process
Manager V8.5.5 or a later version, when you view a custom
report page, the system administrator sees the following
IllegalArgumentException in the log files even though the page
works normally:

com.lombardisoftware.core.script.js.objects.ReportScriptable
startDisplayPage, An exception has been caught in
startDisplayPage java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: 'report' is
not a valid ID in string form.

  • A fix that removes the unnecessary exception will be included in
IBM BPM V8.5.7 CF2016.06.

To determine whether the cumulative fix is available and
download it if it is, complete the following steps on Fix
Central:

1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
   the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
   level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
2. Select Text, enter cumulative fix, and click Continue.
