Error description

  • After you rebuild the IBM Process Portal index by deleting the
    index directory on the file system and restarting the IBM
    Business Process Manager (BPM) server, normal index processing
    resumes (checking for new, updated, or deleted instance and task
    records every 5 seconds), as expected. However, the first
    normal indexing run might reindex all instances and tasks again,
    creating an unnecessary load on the IBM BPM server.

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1, V8.5.0.2, V8.5.6.0
    cumulative fix 02 (CF02), and V8.5.7.0 that eliminates the
    additional full re-evaluation of instances and tasks during the
    first normal indexing run after the index is rebuilt.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR55539. Interim fix JR55783 is included in interim fix
    JR55539.
    
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR55539, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
