APAR status

Error description

• When you download a managed asset from IBM Process Designer, a
  web browser window opens to download the file. If your IBM
  Business Process Manager uses WebSEAL as the authentication
  provider, you are asked to log in again because IBM Process
  Designer does not know your credentials. After you log in, the
  download starts and succeeds.
  
  When you then attempt to download another managed asset from IBM
  Process Designer, your existing browser session is reused, but
  you get a NullPointerException on the page instead of the asset
  starting to download.
  

Local fix

• Before you try to download the managed asset from IBM Process
  Designer, close your browser. That way, your browser forgets
  your session and when you next try to download an asset you are
  asked for credentials and the download succeeds.
  
  If you are using IBM BPM V8.5.7, you can use the web Process
  Designer instead to download managed assets.

  additional installation instructions and information about the
  fix.
