APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a process application and a toolkit the process application
refers to have the same name, the environment variables of the
process app and its referenced toolkit are not distinguishable
on the Environment Variables tab of the Process Admin Console.

Local fix

  • Rename the process application or toolkit in IBM Process
Designer or IBM Process Center so that the toolkit and the
process application have different names. For more information,

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM BPM V8.5.7 2016.06 cumulative fix will include a fix
that distinguishes between the toolkit and process app even if
they have the same name and, therefore. ensures the environment
variables are labeled correctly with the toolkit name in the
Process Admin Console where the process app environment
variables have no label.

To determine whether the cumulative fix is available and
download it if it is, complete the following steps on Fix
Central:

1. On the Select product tab, select WebSphere as the product
  group, IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the
  WebSphere options, All as the installed version, and All as
  the platform, and then click Continue.

2. In the Text field, enter "cumulative fix?, and click
  Continue.
