Error description

• When you try to create an IBM Business Process Manager (BPM)
  deployment environment on Sun Solaris platforms, the DE creation
   fails with a NullPointerException similar to the following

Local fix

Problem summary

•    While the BPMConfig command runs on a Sun Solaris platform, a
   method is called with a null parameter; however, the method
  does not accept null parameters. As a result, you receive the
  NullPointerException.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix that enhances the BPMConfig command on Sun Solaris
  platforms is planned for inclusion in an upcoming IBM BPM
  V8.5.7.0 cumulative fix.
