APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If you have interim fix JR55295 installed and then upgrade a
  toolkit dependency in your process application, the exposed team
  information updates only for the snapshot but not for the tip of
  the currently used process application.
  
  Process Portal and REST APIs that use the exposed items refer
  to the old toolkit information. As a result services,
  processes, dashboards, and so on are visible or not visible as
  defined in the old toolkit version.
  

Local fix

• Remove the toolkit dependency and add it again.
  

Problem summary

• Toolkit upgrades in process applications don't update exposed
  items information because constraints in the code are too strict
  regarding updating exposed information for tip snapshots.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is/will be available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.3 and V8.5.6.0
  that enables IBM BPM to update exposed information for tip
  snapshots in process applications when the toolkit is upgraded.
  
  On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
  for JR55487:
  
  1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
  
  2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR55487, and click Continue.
  
  When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
  the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
  additional installation instructions and information about the
  fix.
