Error description

  • In IBM Process Portal, the User Profile window doesn't open
    although you clicked the User Profile menu option.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • If your administrator configured the
    exclude-membership-info-from-user-info-rest-apis property in the
    100Custom.xml file (interim fix JR54329), user memberships are
    returned as null from the "/v1/user/current?parts=all" REST
    call.  As a result, you see a JavaScript error and the User
    Profile window does not open.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that ensures that the User Profile window opens is
    currently targeted for inclusion in an upcoming IBM Business
    Process Manager (BPM) V8.5 cumulative fix.
