Error description
If CometD push notifications are enabled on the IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) server, you might experience net growth in the amount of memory that the browser uses while IBM Process Portal runs. During a Process Portal session, this growth might accumulate to the point where the browser and the workstation on which the browser runs become unresponsive. Local fix
Problem summary
Client-side code that runs in the browser does not properly release memory objects associated with CometD channel subscriptions (each channel subscription is for a specific set of notifications from the IBM BPM server) when those subscriptions are terminated, resulting in a browser memory leak.
Problem conclusion
A fix is included in IBM BPM V8.5.6.0 cumulative fix 2 (CF02) that properly releases memory objects associated with CometD channel subscriptions as the subscriptions are terminated. For more information about IBM BPM V8.5.6.0 CF02, see http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27047155.
