Error description
If result caching is enabled for a service in IBM Business Process Manager (BPM), changes to the result object that the executeServiceByName JavaScript API returns within the JavaScript step might affect the cached object instance and, therefore, other invocations.
Local fix
Problem summary
This issue occurs because the result cache returns a reference to the cached object rather than a reference to a newly created copy of the cached object.
Problem conclusion
A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 that corrects the behavior of the service result cache so that modifications of the retrieved result are no longer visible to other threads. On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR54374: 1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level, and your platform, and then click Continue. 2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR54374, and click Continue. When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for additional installation instructions and information about the fix.
