JR53733: LAST DATE COLUMN IS ALWAYS ZERO ON 'WHEN WILL TASKS GO OVERDUE' CHART

Error description

  • When you look at the "When will Tasks go Overdue" chart, you see
    tasks that will become overdue on a specific date.  You click
    the left arrow (<) button to scroll the date range to the left.
    
    You notice that whenever a date has tasks that will become
    overdue and the date is displayed as the last column on the
    right, the chart incorrectly shows zero tasks. This problem
    occurs on My Performance, My Team Performance, and Process
    Performance dashboards.

Local fix

  • You can manually fix the PM Trend.
    
    1. In IBM Process Designer, select the Process Portal app, the
       Performance option under Process Portal, and then PM Trend.
    2. In the Details section of the Report Transformation, change
       report.setFilterValue("max",max);
       to
       report.setFilterValue("max",max+step);
    

Problem summary

  • The database query that retrieves the data for the "When will
    Tasks go Overdue" chart does not retrieve the last day of the
    date range that was displayed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.3 that correctly retrieves
    all the data in the date range that is displayed on the "When
    will Tasks go Overdue" chart.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR53733:
    
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
       the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
       level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53733, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
