Error description

  • When a staff query cleanup is called while a previous staff
query cleanup call is still running, you see the following
    entries in the log file:

Assertion violation !(There is more than one relatedOID / kind
combination - no singleton) in method >>
     com.ibm.task.core.message.SavedTaskMessageHelper.
      getSingleton(SavedTaskMessageHelper.java:305)

Local fix

Problem summary

  • If several users call the staff query cleanup simultanously,
only one query usually runs. However, the check to determine
that such a staff query cleanup process was already triggered
might be incomplete and not notice that an earlier staff query
    cleanup process is still running.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is/will be available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 that detects
that a staff query cleanup process is already running and
doesn't start another staff query cleanup process at the same
time, even if they are distributed in the network in a cluster.
