Error description

  • A coach view has a binding to a Business object type that no
    longer exist in the process app or referenced toolkits. Because
    it is unresolved, an exception occurs when trying to obtain the
    type for the variable and the coach view editor is prevented
    from opening.

Local fix

  • Open the coach view in the web editor and assign a valid
    Business Object for variable defined in Variables > Business
    Data. Once this is done the Coach View can be successfully
    opened in the Desktop editor.

  • A fix will be incorporated into a later release that adds a
    check for the referenced Business object allowing the coach view
    editor to open.
