APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The parameters to connect from IBM Business Process Manager
  (BPM) to an external decision server can be modified in the
  Process Admin console. However, even if you add the correct host
  name and port number, the connection fails. In the SystemOut.log
  file, you might see the following exception:
  
  java.net.ConnectException:
  HTTP (404 ) Not Found address :
  http://<ILOG_HOST>:<ILOG_PORT>//<CONTEXT_ROOT>
  http://<ILOG_HOST>:<ILOG_PORT>//<CONTEXT_ROOT> is specific to
  your environment.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• After you update the connection parameters, the slash after the
  port number is doubled.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is/will be available for IBM BPM that prevents the slash
  from duplicating.
  
  On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
  for JR53422:
  
  1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
  
  2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53422, and click Continue.
  
  When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
  the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
  additional installation instructions and information about the
  fix.
