    PRODUCTS AFFECTED:
    IBM BPM Advanced
    IBM BPM Standard
    IBM BPM Express

Local fix

  • The first time you deploy or run a business process definition
(BPD), do so as an admin user because only an admin user has the
authority to deploy process app and run BPD. Then the
deployment environment information is cached and a non-admin
user can deploy the process app and run a BPD.

Problem summary

  • Installing or upgrading the product, leaves entries in wstemp
that are not cleaned up. As a result, you receive the exception
    shown in the Error Description.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM that cleans up the entries left
in wstemp after deployment, preventing the exception.

Temporary fix

  • The first time you deploy or run a business process definition
(BPD), do so as an admin user because only an admin user has the
authority to deploy process app and run BPD. Then the
deployment environment information is cached and a non-admin
user can deploy the process app and run a BPD.
