Error description

• When you deploy a monitor model configured to use a Dynamic
  Event Framework (DEF) event source or change the event
  consumption mode for a monitor model that has already been
  deployed and configured to use a DEF event source, changing the
  event consumption mode takes several minutes.

Local fix

Problem summary

• Reading and reloading the DEF configuration at the event source
  inefficiently loads the applicable configuration.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available for Business Monitor V8.5.5.0 and V8.5.6.0
  and Business Process Manager V8.5.5.0 and V8.5.6.0 Cumulative
  Fix 2 that speeds the reloading of DEF configuration and
  associated monitor model event consumption mode changes at the
  event source.
  
  On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
  for JR53111:
  
  1. Select IBM Business Monitor or IBM Business Process Manager
  from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
  level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
  2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53111, and click Continue.
  
  When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
  the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
  additional installation instructions and information about the
  fix.
