Error description
When you run a business process definition (BPD) that has a tracked field of the decimal type, the value of the tracked field included in event content is represented in scientific notation. Event users, such as IBM Business Monitor, cannot use a decimal in scientific notation form because this form is not in the lexical space for an xs:decimal. The event content displays a large decimal tracked field value in the following manner: <wle:tracked-field wle:name="DecimalTrackedField" wle:id="bpdid:e7b7e515c0684bbe:5e740ba6:14ac123bj4b:-7fe4" wle:type="xs:integer">1.0E7</wle:tracked-field> PRODUCTS AFFECTED: IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) Advanced IBM BPM Standard IBM BPM Express

Problem summary
The logic to create events does not prevent decimal tracked field values from being converted to scientific notation.

A fix will be incorporated into a later release that creates events based on decimal tracked fields without using scientific notation.
