APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A modify task component can be added to a human service in
Process Designer to trigger modifications to certain properties
during its execution. There are issues when the due date option
is enabled with the behavior set to "user to choose".

This will bring up a web page that does not allow the selection
of the new due date and the continue button is not functional.

Local fix

  • Remove the modify task component from the human service.

Then have users use the modify task feature of process portal to
make changes to the due date. This is one of the options
available in the drop down menu for a task in the work tab of
Process Portal.

Problem summary

  • A styling issue renders the date picker unusable.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 that corrects the path
to the referenced stylesheet allowing the page to behave
correctly. On Fix Central
(http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR52352:

    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR52352, and click Continue.

When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
additional installation instructions and information about the
fix.
