APAR status

Error description

  • When you use the ?rest/bpm/wle/v1/visual/processModel? or
    ?rest/bpm/wle/v1/visual/serviceModel? REST APIs to retrieve a
    business process definition (BPD) or service visual models, it
    fails with an ?Array index out of range? error when the image
    parameter is set to true.

  • You expected the results to  be an image of the BPD or service
    design. However, the following error is returned in the
    SystemOut.log file:

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 that fixes these REST
    APIs and ensures the proper image of the BPD or service that has
     been requested is returned.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR51891:
    1.Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the
    product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level,
    and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2.Select APAR or SPR, enter JR51891, and click Continue.
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
