Error description
When you create a profile by using the BPMConfig command and the profile path already exists, the validation fails with the following error message even if the directory is empty: com.ibm.bpm.config.BPMConfig.main(): The profile path <profilePath> must not exist. com.ibm.bpm.config.util.ConfigException: The profile path <profilePath> must not exist. at com.ibm.bpm.config.BPMConfig.createDmgrProfile(BPMConfig.java:18 33) at com.ibm.bpm.config.BPMConfig.configureDeploymentEnvironment(BPMC onfig.java:660) at com.ibm.bpm.config.BPMConfig$Actions.createDe(BPMConfig.java:397 8) at com.ibm.bpm.config.cli.CreateAction.runInner(CreateAction.java:1 37) at com.ibm.bpm.config.cli.AbstractConfigAction.run(AbstractConfigAc tion.java:127) at com.ibm.bpm.config.cli.CreateAction.run(CreateAction.java:33) at com.ibm.bpm.config.BPMConfig.main(BPMConfig.java:272) ...
Local fix
Use a non-existing profile path with the BPMConfig command if you want to set a custom directory for the profile data. For instance, specify a profile path to the parent directory which will then contain the subdirectories of the profiles.
