Error description

  • The marketing framework uses a tag on the store JSP page to
dynamically set the e-Marketing Spot ID as a dependency ID. As
well, any content displayed in the e-Marketing Spot will also be
set as a dependency. The marketing framework issues
invalidations for e-Marketing Spot IDs when the e-Marketing
Spot, related activities, or related promotions change. The
marketing framework issues invalidations for marketing content
IDs when the content, or related attachments, change.

e-Marketing Spot REST cache entries use the e-Marketing Spot
name as a dependency ID. There is no simple way to have the
e-Marketing Spot ID or related content set as dependency IDs.
The current marketing framework is unable to invalidate
    e-Marketing Spot REST cache entries.

Problem conclusion

  • The marketing framework has been enhanced to issue invalidations
for e-Marketing Spot names when the e-Marketing Spot, related
activities, or related promotions change. As well, the marketing
framework has been enhanced to issue invalidations for
e-Marketing Spot names when related marketing content, or
    related attachments, change.

See the additional installation instructions for details about
the dependency rules that need to be added to the cachespec to
    support the new invalidations.
