Error description

  • Processing simultaneous boundary events can result in various
exceptions, which could be misleading, for example a "Next
service item is not defined" exception or
"NullPointerException". You receive these errors when you update
the coach data.

Problem summary


    

  • This issue occurs because of a timing interval in the coach
client framework that applies during the queuing and processing
of boundary events.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 that is included in
cumulative coaches fix for JR51548.

On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
for JR51548:

    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR51548, and click Continue.

A fix is also available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0. The fix for this
APAR on V8.5.5.0 has been superseded and included in cumulative
fix for JR52731 . To obtain, follow the instruction above,
substituting the APAR id with JR52731.

A fix is also available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.3. To obtain, follow
the instruction above, substituting the APAR id with JR51588.
