Error description
An SQL query for durable messages that executes frequently uses literals instead of parameter markers. However, using literals increases the shared memory and degrades performance.
Local fix
Problem summary
This performance issue is caused by frequent executions of an SQL statement that has different arguments. Because the arguments are passed as literals into the query, the database statement cache grows.
Problem conclusion
A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.1 that uses parameter markers instead of literals in a query for durable messages. For the database manager, an SQL query with the number of parameter markers is the same regardless of the values and can be reused by the optimizer despite the individual literals. On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR51450: 1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level, and your platform, and then click Continue. 2.
