Error description

  • In IBM Process Portal, you can view details of a process
    instance in the Process Performance dashboard by clicking the
    instance in the instances list and then, in the Instance Details
    page that appears, you can display a Gantt chart of the
    instance from the Gantt View tab. The Gantt chart is expanded to
    show the breakdown of the instance by step name, with tabs on
    the left that allow you to collapse or expand details of
    individual steps. After you collapse a step, however, you cannot
    expand it again.

Problem summary

  • This problem occurs because the "today" line on the chart is
    handled incorrectly when the collapse action is processed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 that correctly checks
    for the "today" line on the chart and handles it correctly.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR51019:
    
     1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
     2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50481, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
