    If the error occurs,  a server restart is required to correct
    the issue. The error occurs because the SCA class loader cache
    was freed by the java garbage collector, resulting in a
    NullPointerException.

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When you stop the SCA applications and then restart them, you
    might occasionally encounter this NullPointerException issue.
    The code fix resolves  the issue by finding a correct class
    loader and rebuilding the cache again if the current class
    loader from cache is null.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM Business Process Manager V8.0.1.2.
    With the applied fix, the system will find the right class
    loader for the stopped applications, thereby avoiding the
    NullPointerException
    
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR50907:
       1.     Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
    from the product selector, the installed version to the fix
    pack level, and your platform; and then click Continue.
       2.     Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50907, and click
    Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
