Error description

• You see an error message that is similar to the following
  error message after you run the updateBPMConfig admin command
  to update the IBM BPM database URLs in the WebSphere Lombardi
  XML files to Oracle RAC format:
  
  <url> does not match with
  'jdbc:db2://<dbHostName>:<port>/<dbName>','jdbc:oracle:thin:@<db
  HostName>:<port>:<dbName>' or
  'jdbc:sqlserver://<dbHostName>:<port>;databaseName=<dbName>'.
  

Local fix

• Manually modify the jdbc url of data source at Admin console,
  as well as the 98database.xml files. (not yet verified)

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.2 that allows you to
  update the IBM BPM database URLs in the WebSphere Lombardi XML
  files to Oracle RAC format by using the updateBPMConfig admin
  command.
  
  On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
  for JR50502:
  
  1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
  the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
  level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
  2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50502, and click Continue.
  
  When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
  the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
  additional installation instructions and information about the
  fix.
