  • ABSTRACT: DOCUMENT PROPERTIES IN 'CREATE DOCUMENT DIALOG' FROM
DOCUMENT LIST ARE NOT DISPLAYED IF BROWSER WINDOW DOES NOT HAVE
ENOUGH SPACE TO DISPLAY THE IFRAME

ERROR DESCRIPTION:
When you try to add a document to a document list, the document
properties (such as file name, type, and so on) are not being
displayed. This issue can be seen when the screen resolution is
too low or the browser window is resized to a point where it
cannot provide enough space to display the entire iFrame.

AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) Advanced
IBM BPM Standard
IBM BPM Express

Local fix

  • Workaround:
1. Adapt your screen resolution (Higher than 1366x768)
2. Expand your coach view
3. Close all uneeded toolbars in your browser

Problem summary

  • The iFrame is not provided with enough space to list all
document properties (due to small window size or resolution).

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM 8.5.0.1 and 8.5.5.0 that adds a
vertical scroll bar to the list of document properties if there
is not already enough available space. On Fix Central
(http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR50488:

1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50488, and click Continue.

When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
additional installation instructions and information about the
fix.
