Error description

  • In Process Portal, with Internet Explorer as the browser, there
    is a keyboard accessibility issue: when you tab through user
    avatars or stream events (in the Stream tab on the right-side
    pane), thick borders are displayed around these elements
    instead of the usual outline style.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Internet Explorer sometimes requires that the proper border
    style for the keyboard accessibility of certain elements be
    explicitly declared; otherwise, those elements might appear with
    thick borders.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.2 that reverts the borders
    to the usual outline style.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR49086 (this fix includes the fix for APAR JR50128):
    
     1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
     2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR49086, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
