APAR status

Error description

  • Whenever a heritage with a document attachment runs, the
temporary directories that are created remain in the file
system.

For example, each time a heritage coach is used, temporary
directories are created in C:\Users\ltlouie\AppData\Local\Temp.

Local fix

  • Periodically, you can delete the temporary directories.

Problem summary

  • Whenever a heritage coach that contains a document attachment
runs, multiple empty folders (named tmp_***) might be created in
user temporary directory.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.2 and V8.5.0.1 that
deletes the created temporary directories as soon as the coach
is closed. On Fix Central
(http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR50057:

    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50057, and click Continue.

the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
additional installation instructions and information about the
fix.
