JR49974: ASNCLP WRONGLY PICKS XML COLUMN AS KEY FOR NONCONDENSED CCD TARGETS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When you create a unidirectional Q subscription with a
  noncondensed CCD table as the target, the ASNCLP program
  uses the first subscribed column as a key column for
  replication, even if the column data type is XML.  XML
  columns are not allowed as replication keys.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• If the problem occurs, change the properties of the
  Q subscription to remove the XML column from the
  replication key and then start the Q subscription.  This
  fix prevents XML columns from being used as key columns
  for CCD targets.
  

Problem conclusion

• The ASNCLP program no longer uses XML columns in
  replication key.
