Error description

  • When you specify the same starting ports for two cluster
    members that belong to different nodes, the Deployment
    Environment wizard shows the following error message:
    
    "The port number for the subsequent cluster groups must
    increase by 20.
    
    Starting ports in the same node must have a difference of at
    least 20 between their port numbers. ᄁ¬ツᆲ

    In the Deployment Environment wizard, you cannot specify
    cluster members on different nodes with the same starting
    ports.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 so that in the
    Deployment Environment wizard you can specify the same
    starting ports for different cluster members even on different
    nodes.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR49948:
     1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
     2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR49948, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
