Error description

  • In IBM Process Portal, when you open a task to work on it, you
might see two coaches: one for a task you previously worked on,
followed by another coach for the current task. This issue can
occur if you have not completed a task that you previously
worked on during the same Process Portal session.

    PRODUCTS AFFECTED:
IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) Advanced
    IBM BPM Standard
    IBM BPM Express

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The task completion user interface, which displays coaches, has
a timing window in which objects that are related to displaying
one coach are cleaned up. This cleanup might not be completed
before you start the next coach, which causes both coaches to be
displayed in the user interface when the second coach is
    launched.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.0 that closes the timing
window, which prevents previously displayed coaches from being
    displayed again.
